Infusion Clinical Pharmacist Phoenix, AZ

We are seeking a highly skilled Infusion Clinical Pharmacist to join a rapidly expanding team in Phoenix, AZ. This is a contract to hire opportunity with an industry-leading infusion pharmacy that has recently tripled its operational space and continues to grow.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts within 8:00 AM 7:30 PM

• On-Call: Rotating weekends

• Assignment: 13-week contract to hire

• Start: ASAP

Environment:
This is a dynamic infusion pharmacy focused strictly on acute care. The role includes preparation and oversight of sterile compounded medications such as:

• IV therapies and hydration

• TPNs

• Antibiotics

Technology: CareTend (formerly CPR+)

Required Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Pharmacist license in good standing

• At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in an infusion pharmacy setting

• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills

• Proficiency in preparing sterile compounds

• Ability to work confidently with both patients and providers

• Must be comfortable in a high-paced, growing environment and able to take initiative

Responsibilities Include:

• Overseeing daily pharmacy operations

• Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently

• Monitoring patient drug therapies

• Providing consultations and therapeutic guidance to providers

• Supervising pharmacy technicians and ensuring compliance with state/federal regulations

• Participating in provider communications and patient care planning

• Maintaining quality standards and adapting to changing clinical needs

Note: Candidates will be required to complete an on-site infusion competency test during the interview process.
