Location: Newcastle, WY

Terms of Assignment: ASAP, 13+ Weeks

Shift: Days, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

As an Inpatient Hospital and Long-Term Care Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients in various settings. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Clinical Care: Serving as a clinical pharmacist, you will provide care for Long-Term Care, Inpatient, and Outpatient pharmacy services. This includes assessing and reviewing patients' medical statuses and advising on prescribed medications to optimize patient outcomes.

  • Pharmacy Team Oversight: Providing oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy.

  • Reference and Collaboration: Serving as a reference point for medical, nursing staff, and patients, offering your expertise and guidance. Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Doctorate in Pharmacy: You must hold a Doctorate in Pharmacy to be considered for this position.

  • Current Wyoming Pharmacy License: A valid and current Wyoming Pharmacy License is essential for this role.

  • Exceptional Medical Knowledge: You should possess exceptional knowledge of medical terminology and processes to provide effective pharmaceutical care.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: You must have and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

  • Clinical Experience: Clinical pharmacy and orders management experience is preferred, demonstrating your ability to make critical decisions regarding patient care.
