Hospital Inpatient Pharmacist Direct Hire (New Grads Welcome)
Location: Winamac, IN
Position Type: Direct Hire, Full Time (30 hours/week)

RPh on the Go is seeking a hospital inpatient pharmacist for a direct hire opportunity at a 25-bed critical access hospital in Winamac, IN. This role is ideal for new pharmacy graduates or experienced pharmacists looking to work in an inpatient hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill medication orders and perform medication verification
• Review and approve technician-prepared products
• Ensure compliance with controlled substances security protocols
• Accurately enter patient orders and information into the pharmacy system
• Assist in training new pharmacy staff and collaborate with the pharmacy director on daily operations
• Provide precise and timely support in all inpatient pharmacy tasks

Equipment Utilized:

• EMR System: CPSI
• Automated Dispensing Cabinet: Omnicell

Qualifications:

• No prior hospital experience required; new pharmacy graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong decision-making skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• Familiarity with pharmacy information systems, spreadsheets, and word processing software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school
• Active Indiana Pharmacist License in good standing

Additional Details:

• Schedule: Full-time with weekend rotation and on-call duties after training
• Floating: May provide coverage in outpatient pharmacy as needed
• Dress Code: Scrubs or business casual attire
