Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist

Our critical access hospital is seeking a motivated Pharmacist to join our inpatient team. New graduates are welcome to apply, as no prior experience is required for this role. This position offers an excellent opportunity for those eager to start their pharmacy career in a supportive hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill medication orders and check technician-prepared products
• Maintain pharmacy security and controlled substance protocols
• Accurately enter patient information and medication orders
• Support the training of new staff members
• Communicate with the Pharmacy Director about daily activities and assist in general pharmacy maintenance

Equipment Used:

• EMR: CPSI
• Automated Dispensing Cabinet: Omnicell

Qualifications:

• Education: Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school
• License: Current Indiana Pharmacist license in good standing
• Skills: Independent worker with strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
