Inpatient Overnight Pharmacy Technician 7 On / 7 Off , FL

We re seeking a skilled and dependable overnight pharmacy technician to join a high-acuity inpatient hospital team for a 13-week contract with potential for extension. This unique schedule offers a 7 on / 7 off rotation, providing long stretches of time off while working in a fast-paced, clinically rich environment.

Schedule:
Thursday Wednesday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
(70 73 hours per week during on-week rotation)

Job Overview:
Technicians in this role will be vital to overnight pharmacy operations supporting both sterile compounding and inpatient needs. Duties include:

• Preparing and verifying IV medications in the cleanroom

• Filling first doses and managing minimal 24-hour cart fills

• Handling overnight phone calls and tech support responsibilities for pharmacy services

• Collaborating with pharmacists to ensure seamless patient care

Required Experience & Skills:

• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License

• Minimum of 1 year inpatient hospital experience

• Strong IV room/sterile compounding experience

• Pediatric experience required

• Familiarity with EPIC EHR system is required

• Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight hours
