Location: Mishawaka, IN
Setting: Inpatient Hospital
Schedule: Full-Time, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
About the Role: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our inpatient hospital team for a 13-week contract. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment where your expertise in IV compounding, TPNs, mixing drugs, and sterile compounding will be crucial.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders and detecting therapeutic incompatibilities.
  • Dispense medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.
  • Control medications by monitoring drug therapies and advising interventions.
  • Complete pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' workflow, verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals, verifying order entries, and charges.
  • Ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and departments.
  • Practice safe medication management and comply with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy, the drug enforcement administration, and the food and drug administration.


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in infusion therapy and chemotherapy.
  • Experience in inpatient hospital or home infusion settings.
  • Proficient in sterile compounding.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is a plus.
  • Must hold an active and clear Indiana pharmacy license.
