Inpatient Pharmacist Burlington MA

Are you an experienced inpatient pharmacist looking to make a difference in a fast-moving hospital environment? A busy and well-established hospital just outside of Boston is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join their team. This is a 26-week contract with strong potential for permanent placement our last pharmacist at this location successfully transitioned to a direct hire.

Schedule & Duration
Start Date: March 10
Duration: 26 weeks
Shift: Evenings, 2:00 PM 10:30 PM (weekends as needed)

Job Responsibilities

• Verify and review medications, including IVs, to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
• Hands-on experience with IV preparation is highly desirable.
• Operate effectively in a high-energy environment that requires strong critical thinking skills.
• Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records and Pyxis ES for medication dispensing.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
• Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume hospital setting.
• Team-oriented approach being a reliable and collaborative team member is essential.
• Adaptability and willingness to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
