Schedule: Primarily Day Shifts

About the Role:
We re seeking a skilled Inpatient Pharmacist to join our team at a renowned 600-bed teaching hospital in Chicago. In this role, you ll be responsible for medication order verification, overseeing pharmacy technicians, and working collaboratively with physicians and nurses to ensure the best patient care outcomes.

Core Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders for accuracy and safety

• Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nursing staff, to optimize treatment plans

Preferred Experience:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist License

• Experience in hospital pharmacy, particularly in oncology/chemotherapy

• Pyxis
