Inpatient Pharmacist - Travel Contract 13+ Weeks - MT

RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a travel assignment in Montana. This position offers housing accommodations and requires flexibility to occasionally float to the retail pharmacy as needed.

Position Details:

• Hospital Schedule: Day Shift, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM (on-call required outside of this shift)
• Weekly Hours: 40+ hours, with potential overtime
• Retail Pharmacy Hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 6:00 PM; Saturdays, 9:00 AM 1:00 PM (may be required to assist as needed)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in both hospital and retail settings.
• Review, verify, and dispense medications for patients in the ER (7 beds), ICU, OB unit, surgery floor, and med-surg departments.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and adjust treatment plans.
• Monitor patient responses to medications, making necessary adjustments.
• Oversee medication inventory and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Occasionally float to the retail pharmacy to assist with prescriptions and medication counseling.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted Montana Pharmacist License
• 2+ years of recent inpatient hospital experience (within the last 5 years preferred)
• Experience with EPIC (please verify with candidates)
• Availability for required shifts and on-call responsibilities
• Willingness to start as soon as compliant
