Inpatient Pharmacist - Travel Contract (Montana)

RPh on the Go is hiring a Travel Clinical Pharmacist for a 13 week contract in Montana. This opportunity includes hosing & travel stipends, and a consistent weekday schedule ideal for pharmacists looking to make an impact in an inpatient pharmacy while exploring a new location.

Position Highlights:

• Location: Montana (travel assignment)
• Schedule: Monday Wednesday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Duration: 13+ Weeks
• Setting: Inpatient Pharmacy - Critical Access Hospital

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriate dosage, potential interactions, and patient-specific factors before dispensing.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure safe, effective, and timely administration of medications.
• Prepare and dispense sterile and non-sterile medications, including IV admixtures, in accordance with hospital protocols and USP standards.
• Monitor patient responses to therapies and adjust medication plans as needed based on clinical status and lab results.
• Adhere to state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) and ensure compliance with hospital policies, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted Montana pharmacist license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Inpatient pharmacy experience
• EPIC experience required
