Inpatient Pharmacist Watford City, North Dakota

RPh on the go is seeking a strong staff pharmacist with inpatient experience (preferred) for the Watford City ND area for a 13+ week assignment. This is a temp to perm position for the right candidate. This will be a full time position with 40hrs week. Housing and travel is offered.  Weekend ,and after-hour verification will done remotely. We are accepting all candidates at this moment Retail, Inpatient, Compounding, and Outpatient. If you have a valid North Dakota License, and looking to travel this is the position for you.  

Shift: Monday thru Friday 40hrs 
Duties:

• Verifying that all medications have been properly ordered by a physician and are appropriate for the patient’s condition
• Explaining medication instructions to patients and family members
• Dispensing medications in accordance with physicians’ orders
• Monitoring patients’ reactions to medications, including side effects and adverse events
• Reviewing and updating patient records to ensure that all information is up to date and accurate
• Providing counseling on medication therapy to patients and their families
• Communicating with physicians regarding changes in patient status or response to treatment
• Prescribing medications in accordance with state laws and regulations
• Educating patients about their medications and helping them manage their treatment plans
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patients’ progress or difficulties with treatment programs

Requirements:

• Must have hospital inpatient experience (preferred) 
• A clear ND license and must pass a background check
