Inpatient Pharmacy Technician Chicago, Illinois (No Weekends)

RPh on the Go is actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inpatient Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract position at a prestigious healthcare facility in Chicago, Illinois. If you are an experienced pharmacy technician with a strong background in inpatient hospital pharmacy settings, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications for hospital patients.
• Accurately compound sterile and non-sterile medications as required.
• Manage and maintain inventory levels, including the storage and organization of medications.
• Operate automated dispensing machines, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support the maintenance of patient records and ensure proper labeling and tracking of medications.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient medication management.

Shift:

• Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 4:30pm, or 10:00am - 6:00pm)

Requirements:

• Inpatient hospital experience required
• Sterile compounding experience
• IL pharmacy technician license.
• PTCB certification.
