Interim Pharmacist in Charge - Vancouver, Washington (No Weekends)

Employment Type: 13-Week Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift

RPh on the Go is actively seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a hospital in Vancouver, WA. This interim role offers the potential for permanent hire and is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacy leader to oversee operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily pharmacy operations, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and regulations.
• Lead and support pharmacy staff, optimizing workflow and patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to promote safe and effective medication management.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering and storage of pharmaceuticals.

Qualifications:

• Active Washington Pharmacist license (in good standing).
• Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
• Previous PIC or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy regulations and compliance.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
