RPh on the Go is actively seeking an experienced Interim Pharmacy Director for a 14-week contract at a hospital in Bakersfield, California. This role is ideal for a pharmacy leader with a strong background in hospital pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of hospital pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Manage and mentor pharmacy staff to maintain high-quality patient care.
• Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to optimize medication management and improve efficiency.
• Ensure proper inventory control and medication safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Active California Pharmacist License (clear and in good standing).
• 5+ years of hospital experience required
• 2+ years of pharmacy management experience required.
• Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS).
• Experience with Cerner required
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Schedule & Assignment Details:

• Monday - Friday: Day Shift
• 14-week contract
