Job Title: Pharmacy Technician - Sterile Compounding Experience Required

Job Summary:
RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician with specialized skills in Sterile Compounding to join our team in Ventura, California. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing sterile medications in compliance with California state and federal regulations, including USP guidelines. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and compound sterile medications, including IV admixtures, injections, and other sterile preparations, following all relevant safety and regulatory guidelines.
Adhere to USP standards to maintain a clean and controlled sterile environment.
Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of sterile medications for patients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws.
Perform calculations for accurate medication dosing, dilution, and compounding under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation of compounded sterile products.
Monitor and manage inventory of sterile compounding supplies, including medications, syringes, and compounding equipment.
Conduct quality control checks, including sterility testing and monitoring, to ensure compounded products meet quality standards.
Follow strict aseptic techniques and participate in maintaining the sterile compounding environment, including cleaning and sanitization of compounding rooms and equipment.
Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure patient-specific medication needs are met.
Maintain accurate records of sterile compounding activities, including batch records, logs, and cleaning schedules.
Ensure compliance with all California state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Active Pharmacy Technician license in good standing with the California State Board of Pharmacy.
Sterile Compounding Certification and IV Certification required.
1-2 years of experience in sterile compounding in a hospital, infusion, or compounding pharmacy setting.
Strong understanding of USP standards.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a sterile, safe, and compliant compounding environment.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with pharmacists and healthcare teams.
Familiarity with sterile compounding equipment and pharmacy software systems.
