IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician - Houston TX

RPh on the Go is eager to hire a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a full-time contract position in Houston, Texas!
This is an 8-week+ assignment in a specialized sterile compounding environment. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented technician to support the preparation of IV medications in a fast-paced pharmacy setting.

Assignment Details:

• Position: Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician
• Location: Houston, TX
• Type: Full-time, 8+ week contract
• Setting: Sterile compounding / IV room
• Schedule: Monday to Friday 830am-500pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile IV admixtures following USP <797> guidelines
• Maintain aseptic technique and cleanroom standards
• Label, package, and document all compounded medications accurately
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure quality and safety

Requirements:

• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License
• PTCB certification (required)
• IV Certification (required)
• 1 2 years of recent sterile compounding/IV experience
• Strong attention to detail and compliance with sterile procedures
