RPh on the Go is seeking a skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join a reputable pharmacy in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and delivery of sterile medications, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile compounding of pharmaceutical products, including IV medications, chemotherapy drugs, and other sterile preparations, following all guidelines and protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized sterile compounding environment, adhering to strict aseptic techniques.
• Prepare and label medications accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor and maintain compounding equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to verify medication orders and resolve any discrepancies.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and perform regular self-inspections of the compounding area.

Qualifications:

• Clear and active pharmacy technician license in the state of Indiana
• PTCB certification
• Experience in sterile compounding
