IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician (Ventura, CA)

RPh on the Go is actively hiring for a Pharmacy Technician to support a full-time assignment at a medical center near Ventura, California. This position is focused in the IV room and requires recent sterile compounding experience. The ideal candidate will have an active California Pharmacy Technician license and a strong background in IV admixture.

Position Details:

• Location: Near Ventura, CA
• Setting: Medical Center Inpatient/IV Room
• Schedule: Full-time, Day Shifts
• Focus: Sterile Compounding/IV Admixture

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile IV admixtures in a cleanroom environment
• Assist pharmacists in maintaining accurate medication inventory and labeling
• Adhere to USP 797 and 800 standards for sterile compounding
• Maintain proper documentation and labeling protocols
• Ensure compliance with hospital and pharmacy safety procedures

Requirements:

• Active California Pharmacy Technician license
• Recent IV admixture/sterile compounding experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a cleanroom setting
• Familiarity with USP 797 and USP 800 standards
