IV Pharmacist in Waco, Texas

Are you a skilled and dedicated pharmacist with expertise in IV compounding? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at RPh on the Go, a leading provider of pharmacy staffing solutions. If you re passionate about patient care and ensuring the highest standards of medication preparation, this role is for you!

Position Responsibilities:

• Oversee the pharmacy technicians and/or data entry clerks to ensure proper data entry, workflow, security of the pharmacy area, and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Oversee ordering and prepacking by the pharmacy technicians.
• Screen all new medication orders for appropriate dose, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications prior to dispensing the medication.
• Assist in the proper ordering, handling, receiving, documentation, and storage of all controlled substances; assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.

Shift:

• Rotating 1^st and 2^nd shifts
  • 8:30am-5:00pm
  • 10:00am-7:00pm

Requirements:

• Clear and active TX Pharmacist license
• IV experience
• Ability to work rotating days/evenings.
