Job Title: IV Pharmacist 13-weeks Temp to Perm

Location: Waco, Texas

Shifts: 1st, 2nd - Rotating

Hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm and 10:00 am - 7:00 pm

Job Type: Temporary (13 weeks) with potential for Permanent placement.

Job Duties: As an IV Pharmacist at [Insert Company Name], you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing pharmacy technicians and/or data entry clerks to ensure proper data entry, workflow, security of the pharmacy area, and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Overseeing ordering and prepacking activities performed by pharmacy technicians.
• Screening all new medication orders for appropriate dose, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications prior to dispensing.
• Assisting in the proper ordering, handling, receiving, documentation, and storage of all controlled substances.
• Assisting in maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.

Required Qualifications: To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Clear and active license in the state of Texas.
• IV experience.
• Ability to work rotating days and evenings.

Pay: $55 - $58 per hour
