IV - Pharmacy Technician - Alexandria, VA

RPh on the Go is searching for an IV Pharmacy Technician in Alexandria, Virginia. This is a 13+ Week contract position with direct hire potential and were actively interviewing to start ASAP.

Hours:

• Monday Through Friday Closed on Weekends
• 8am to 5pm

Duties:

• Packing/filling prescriptions for acute & chronic illnesses
• Data Entry and Billing
• Pharmacy intake responsibilities
• Client says they will NOT be doing compounding as their main responsibility -if at all. But they need sterile compounding experience to be able to jump in and assist in compounding in certain situations (staffing shortage, high-volume, etc).

Qualifications:

• VA Pharmacy Technician License
• PTCB
• Knowledge of USP-797
• 1-2 Years of Sterile Compounding or Infusion Experience.
• Previous Pharmacy Technician experience - Specialty or Home infusion is preferred.
