RPh on the Go is looking for a Pharmacist to join are team in Carson, CA! As a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and accurate preparation of medications in our cleanroom environment. Under the guidance of our on-duty pharmacist, you will be responsible for various compounding and cleanroom maintenance tasks. If you are a detail-oriented and experienced pharmacy technician with a commitment to sterile compounding excellence, we invite you to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the cleanroom for daily activities, ensuring a sterile and organized workspace.
  • Perform regular equipment cleaning and maintenance checks to guarantee optimal functionality.
  • Monitor and manage stock movement in and out of the cleanroom, maintaining accurate records.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating cleanroom equipment essential for compounding tasks.
  • Execute the compounding of various medications with precision and adherence to established protocols.
  • Continuously monitor the cleanroom and refrigerators' temperature to maintain optimal conditions.

Requirements:

  • Active California Pharmacy Technician License.
  • Prior experience in sterile compounding is required.
  • IV certification is a significant advantage.
  • Previous experience in home infusion or hospital pharmacy settings is highly desirable.

Pay:

  • Compensation ranges from $22 to $24 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
