We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled IV Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Windsor Mill, Maryland. If you are passionate about patient care and have experience in sterile compounding, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Job Description: As an IV Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations, primarily focusing on preparing and compounding sterile intravenous (IV) medications. You will work closely with our pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and accurate preparation of medications for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and compound sterile IV medications, including TPN, chemotherapy, antibiotics, and other medications as required.
  • Follow aseptic techniques and comply with USP 797 and 800 guidelines to ensure the sterility and safety of compounded products.
  • Accurately label and package compounded medications.
  • Maintain and clean the sterile compounding area, including laminar flow hoods and other equipment.
  • Manage inventory of IV medications and supplies, ensuring proper storage and timely ordering.
  • Perform quality control checks on compounded medications.
  • Assist pharmacists with other tasks as needed, including medication dispensing and patient consultations.


  • Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Rotating weekends if needed


  • MD Pharmacy Technician license
  • 2+ years of IV Sterile Compounding Experience
  • Recent Pharmacy experience
