Pharmacy Technician IV Sterile Compounding
Location: Windsor Mill, MD
Contract Length: 13+ weeks
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM 7:30 PM
Weekend Coverage: Rotating weekends based on business needs

Position Summary:
We re hiring an experienced IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a contract position at a facility in Windsor Mill, MD. This technician will play a key role in sterile medication preparation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and supporting long-term care pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile compounds in compliance with USP 797 and under direct pharmacist supervision

• Maintain cleanroom standards and document cleaning procedures

• Accurately fill prescriptions and assist with data entry tasks

• Support long-term care pharmacy workflows and emergency kit replenishment

• Stock supplies, maintain IV prep areas, and manage compounding equipment

• Perform facility calls and support communication with clinical staff

• Comply with HIPAA and internal policies on safety and confidentiality

• Be available for overtime, weekend, and holiday work as needed

• Complete other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Maryland

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience with sterile IV compounding

• Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, especially in long-term care settings

• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
