IV Sterile Compounding Technician

We are hiring experienced IV Pharmacy Technicians for a direct-hire opportunity. This role involves preparing sterile admixtures and ensuring compliance with USP <797> standards. Available Shifts:

• 1st Shift: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Compound sterile IV admixtures and non-admixtures using aseptic technique.
• Maintain and sanitize the cleanroom and infusion equipment per USP <797> standards.
• Prepare labels, prescriptions, and documentation while tracking expiration dates.
• Take inventory, stock IV shelves, and manage medication supplies.
• Monitor and document refrigerator temperature logs.
• Assist pharmacists with IV order questions and facility communication.
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of IV pumps.
• Utilize Frameworks software for pharmacy operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License.
• PTCB certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of IV/TPN compounding experience.
• Strong verbal and written customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume pharmacy setting.
