We are a dedicated Long Term Care facility in Knoxville, Tennessee, committed to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. Our pharmacy team plays a crucial role in ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of medication management and care.

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Second Shift Lead Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the order entry team during the second shift, ensuring accurate and timely entry of medication orders, and maintaining the highest standards of pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the order entry team during the second shift.
  • Accurately enter medication orders into the pharmacy system.
  • Verify and review entered orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure timely processing and delivery of medications to residents.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to resolve any medication-related issues.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to new and existing pharmacy technicians.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking of medications.


  • Monday - Friday: 2:00pm - 11:00pm
  • Rotating weekends


  • Pharmacy technician experience,.
  • Prior supervisor or management experience a plus
  • Order Entry experience, prefer several years experience.
  • Long term care experience a plus.
  • TN Pharmacy Tech license.
