Title: Lead Pharmacist Specialty Home Infusion Pharmacy Orange, CA (13-Week Contract with Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)

Location: Orange, CA
Contract Duration: 13 weeks with potential for extension and temp-to-perm conversion
Hours: Minimum of 11 hours per week guaranteed, with the possibility of additional hours as the pharmacy is set up. Full-time potential once operational.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee the launch of a new specialty home infusion pharmacy in Orange, CA. This is an exciting 13-week contract with the possibility of transitioning into a temp-to-perm position for the right candidate. In this leadership role, you will spearhead the licensing and accreditation process, setting the stage for the pharmacy's future operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Set-Up: Oversee the physical and regulatory set-up of the new pharmacy location, ensuring all necessary licenses and accreditations are obtained.
• Licensing & Accreditation: Apply for the California Pharmacy License, DEA License, Medicaid, Medicare, and ACHC accreditation using your PIC credentials.
• Collaboration with Corporate: Coordinate with the corporate team to ensure the pharmacy is equipped with necessary furniture, fixtures, and utilities.
• Smooth Paperwork Processing: Work closely with the licensing team to ensure all required documentation is submitted and processed efficiently.
• Prepare for Launch: While dispensing has not yet started, ensure all preparations are made to ensure the pharmacy is ready to open.
• Fulfill Legal Requirements: Once the pharmacy is licensed, fulfill all minimum hourly requirements mandated by California law.

Compensation & Hours:

• Minimum 11 hours per week guaranteed with additional pay for extra hours worked during the set-up phase.
• Flexible hours initially, with the option to move to full-time once the pharmacy becomes operational.

Required Qualifications:

• Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) Experience: Previous experience as a PIC is required.
• Specialty or Home Infusion Experience: Experience in specialty infusion or home infusion pharmacy settings is preferred.
• California Pharmacy License: Active and clear California Pharmacy License required (bonus if also licensed in Texas).
