Long Term Care Inventory Pharmacy Technician Dallas Fort Worth

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Pharmacy Technician to manage pharmacy stock levels in a long-term care setting. This role starts as a temporary position, with the potential for temp-to-hire based on performance.

Schedule:

• 6:00 AM 2:30 PM CST

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and track daily pharmacy inventory
• Monitor stock levels and place medication orders as needed
• Manage back-ordered and out-of-stock medications
• Conduct monthly and quarterly cycle counts for inventory accuracy
• Process expired medication cleanup and station overstock audits
• Enter new NDCs into pharmacy software and initiate necessary updates
• Verify medication pricing against invoices and update costs in pharmacy systems

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 18+ years of age
• Active PTCB certification
• Registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy
• Previous pharmacy technician experience with inventory management
