Overview: We are seeking an experienced Long Term Care (LTC) Pharmacist to provide coverage starting August 23rd and continuing for 1-2 days per week. This role is based in Coralville, IA, with flexible hours available within the Monday to Friday timeframe, from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Position Details:

• Initial Coverage: Starting August 23rd
• Ongoing Coverage: 1-2 days per week
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 7:00 pm (flexible hours)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial medication verification if familiar with Frameworks software
• Perform final verification of medications before they are shipped to nursing homes or patients' homes
• Ensure accurate medication dispensing and compliance with LTC protocols
• Provide expert advice on medication management and patient care

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Long Term Care (LTC)
• Iowa Pharmacist License (active and in good standing)
• Familiarity with Frameworks software preferred but not mandatory

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in LTC pharmacy practice
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication verification
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to patient care
