Long Term Care Pharmacist Virginia

RPh on the Go, is looking for a skilled Staff Pharmacist ready to take on a 19-week contract in Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity to put your clinical expertise to work in a specialized setting.

Position Overview:

• Contract Duration: 19 weeks

• Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM

• Environment: Long-Term Care Mail Order Pharmacy

Primary Responsibilities:

• Review, verify, and accurately dispense medications for LTC patients.

• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and internal protocols.

• Provide guidance and supervision to pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient operations.

• Support clinical pharmacy services by collaborating with healthcare providers to enhance patient care outcomes.

• Maintain accurate records and uphold the highest standards of medication safety and accuracy.

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted Virginia Pharmacist License required.

• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience required.

• Long-term care pharmacy experience required.

• Strong attention to detail, ability to manage high-volume workflows, and excellent communication skills.
