A contract opportunity is now available for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to join a long-term care mail order pharmacy near Roanoke, Virginia. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and is ready to commit to a steady 19-week assignment.

Assignment Overview:

• Contract Duration: 19 weeks

• Schedule: 4 shifts per week

• Hours: 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM

• Closed-door LTC mail order setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify prescription orders with accuracy and efficiency

• Oversee and support pharmacy technicians

• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards

• Contribute to safe and timely medication dispensing for LTC patients

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Virginia Pharmacist license required

• At least one year of recent pharmacy experience

• Long-term care experience required

• Familiarity with high-volume workflows and mail order operations is essential

• Ability to manage priorities, support a collaborative team, and ensure accuracy under pressure
