A respected long-term care pharmacy in Columbia, Missouri (ZIP: 65203) is seeking a licensed Staff Pharmacist to join their team for a contract role. This is a high-priority opening that requires someone available to begin immediately. The assignment is expected to run for at least 8 weeks, with the possibility of continued work based on ongoing need.

Role Summary:
As a contract pharmacist, you will support daily operations by verifying prescriptions and performing cycle counts in a long-term care setting. Prior LTC experience is beneficial, though not required.

Position Details:

• Location: Columbia, MO

• Duration: 8 weeks minimum (extensions possible)

• Schedule: Monday Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

• Environment: Long-Term Care Pharmacy

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete routine cycle count audits to support inventory control

• Accurately verify prescriptions to meet state and federal compliance standards

• Work efficiently in a collaborative pharmacy team environment

Required Qualifications:

• Active Missouri Pharmacist License

• At least 1 year of pharmacist experience

• Long-term care (LTC) experience preferred

• Local applicants encouraged; open to travelers if needed
