Mail Order Pharmacy Pharmacist in Chula Vista, CA

We are seeking a full-time Pharmacist for a 13+ week contract assignment with the potential for direct hire. This opportunity is based in a non-traditional mail order environment that specializes in diabetic medical supplies such as CGMs and insulin pumps. Unlike typical retail or mail order settings, this pharmacy handles boxed medical devices not medications and focuses on product verification and fulfillment.

You will work alongside a collaborative team including pharmacists, technicians, and support staff. While the daily volume is manageable, the attention to detail required for each order demands strong focus and excellent time management skills. The pharmacy uses Brightree software, which has a steep learning curve, but full training and ongoing tech support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product verification and order fulfillment of diabetic medical devices

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments

• Collaborate with technicians and support team to meet daily workflow needs

• Communicate effectively with staff and assist in problem-solving as needed

Requirements:

• Active California Pharmacist license in good standing

• Previous pharmacy experience in a mail order or retail setting

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment

• Ability to adapt to new technology systems (Brightree experience a plus)
