Mail Order Pharmacy Staff Pharmacist Southgate, Kentucky

An exciting new contract-to-hire opportunity is now available for experienced pharmacists in Southgate, Kentucky. If you are looking for a dynamic role with a strong path to permanent placement, this position offers the chance to work in either a desk-based verification setting or an active, product verification environment.

Assignment Details:

• 13-week contract with potential for permanent hire

• Monday through Friday, with one weekend shift per month

• Shifts available: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM

• Occasional closing shift: 11:00 AM 7:00 PM (about once weekly)

• Weekend hours: Saturday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM, Sunday 11:00 AM 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify data entry and/or perform product verification depending on department assignment.

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and maintain regulatory compliance for controlled medications.

• Counsel patients regarding medication usage and answer healthcare-related inquiries.

• Communicate effectively with physicians to resolve prescription issues.

• Support daily pharmacy operations while ensuring patient confidentiality and medication safety.

Required Qualifications:

• Active and clear Kentucky Pharmacist license.

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience required (retail or mail order experience required).

• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
