Mail Order Pharmacy Technician 13-Week Contract in Tallahassee, FL

RPh on the Go is actively hiring an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract role in Tallahassee, FL. This is a great opportunity for a technician with strong retail or mail-order experience to step into a fast-paced environment and make an immediate impact. You'll be supporting a high-volume operation, primarily mail-order with occasional walk-in patients.

Position Details:

• Location: Tallahassee, FL

• Schedule: Monday Thursday 10:00 AM 5:00 PM; Friday 10:00 AM 12:30 PM

• Weekly Hours: 30 (full-time)

• Type: 13-week maternity leave coverage, with potential extension

Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry and dispensing for high-volume prescription processing

• Assist with packaging and preparing medications for mail-order delivery

• Support walk-in pharmacy services when needed

• Work with automated dispensing technology to manage workflow (ScriptPro experience highly preferred)

• Ensure accurate, timely, and safe medication handling under pharmacist supervision

Requirements:

• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license (required)

• Recent high-volume retail pharmacy experience (within the past 2 years)

• Strong familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software

• Previous use of automated dispensing technology (ScriptPro or similar) highly preferred

• HIV/AIDS medication dispensing experience must be noted on resume, even if minimal

• Excellent communication, team collaboration, and pharmacy intuition

• Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude with a patient-first mindset
