RPh on The Go is seeking an experienced IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join a leading long-term care pharmacy for a 13+ week contract assignment. This is a great opportunity to utilize your sterile compounding expertise in a fast-paced, professional setting.

Assignment Details:
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13+ weeks

Work Schedule:
Monday Friday, 11:00 AM 7:30 PM
Rotating weekend shifts as needed based on pharmacy operations

Work Environment:
Sterile Compounding / Long-Term Care

Position Overview:
The Pharmacy Technician will collaborate closely with the pharmacist, ensuring the accurate preparation of sterile compounded medications while adhering to all compliance and safety standards.

Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanroom standards according to USP 797 regulations
Prepare sterile compounded medications in a Class 100 environment
Accurately fill prescriptions and handle data entry tasks
Process Long Term Care orders and replenish Emergency Drug Kits
Manage IV department inventory and perform routine safety checks
Operate and maintain equipment according to protocols
Comply with HIPAA guidelines and report any compliance concerns
Assist with inbound facility calls and provide customer service support
Follow all company safety, attendance, and professional appearance policies
Additional duties may include occasional overtime, weekends, or holidays

Candidate Requirements:
Active Maryland Pharmacy Technician license
Minimum 2 years of hands-on IV Sterile Compounding experience
Recent pharmacy experience required
