Nevada Clinical Pharmacist Travel or Local Opportunity

RPh on the Go is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist with a strong hospital or clinical background for a 13+ week contract assignment in Gardnerville, Nevada. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a beautiful area while contributing to a 25-bed critical access hospital with a full range of inpatient, outpatient, emergency, surgical, and infusion services.

Location: Gardnerville, NV 89410
Shift: Full Time, Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM (occasional weekends)
Assignment Length: 13+ Weeks | Temp to Perm
Job Type: Contract to Hire (Local or Traveler)

Facility Overview:

• Critical access hospital

• Emergency department

• Outpatient/inpatient surgical services

• Infusion Center (biologics and chemotherapy preparation)

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill and dispense medications for inpatient and outpatient needs

• Accurately verify and interpret physician orders

• Maintain and review patient medication profiles

• Communicate with medical staff regarding therapies

• Manage controlled substances and investigational medications

• Ensure compliance with USP 797 and USP 800, as well as hospital protocols

Requirements:

• PharmD degree

• Active Nevada Pharmacist license

• Current BLS certification

• Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience or completion of a pharmacy residency

• Acute care experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of USP 797/800 guidelines
