Night Shift Pharmacist Indian Health Facility in Oklahoma

RPh on the Go has partnered up with a Indian Health facility in lovely Oklahoma that has an immediate opening for a Night Shift Pharmacist.

Location: Oklahoma (at the foothills of the Ozark Mountains)

Term of Assignment: 13+ weeks

Pharmacy Hours/Shift:

• 4x10-hour shifts
• Night Shift

Job Responsibilities:

• Review patient charts for compliance and drug interactions.
• Assess appointments, labs, x-rays, consults, and related data to ensure appropriate drug therapy.
• Address and escalate relevant issues to the supervisor.
• Verify prescriptions from physicians or other prescribers for accuracy and determine necessary formulas and ingredients.
• Compound medications by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients using standard formulas.
• Supervise pharmacy staff in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.
• Provide detailed information to patients about drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage.
• Maintain pharmacy files, charge systems, and inventory records by entering patient and prescription data.
• Organize and oversee the daily workflow of the pharmacy.

Requirements:

• Active Oklahoma Pharmacist license.
• Degree in Pharmacy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
