Order Entry Pharmacy Technician - Albany, New York

RPh on the Go, a premier pharmacy staffing agency, is currently hiring a skilled Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to support a long-term care facility in Albany, NY. This full-time position features a rotating schedule of day and evening shifts. Responsibilities:

• Enter prescription details accurately into the pharmacy system.
• Verify and cross-check information to ensure order processing accuracy.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to optimize workflow.
• Address phone inquiries from healthcare providers and patients professionally.
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations.

Shift Schedule:

• Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (rotating shifts)
• One weekend per month

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Previous order entry experience.
• Pharmacy technician license is a plus but not required.

Pay:

• $19.00 per hour
