Order Entry Pharmacy Technician - Contract to Hire - Albany, New York

RPh on the Go, a premier pharmacy staffing agency, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Order Entry Pharmacy Technician for a long-term care facility in Albany, NY. This full-time position offers a rotating schedule of day and evening shifts. Key Responsibilities:

• Enter prescription information accurately into the pharmacy system.
• Verify data and ensure precision in order processing.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to maintain efficient workflow.
• Handle phone inquiries from healthcare professionals and patients with professionalism and care.
• Comply with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Schedule:

• Monday Friday: Rotating shifts of 9:00 AM 5:00 PM and 2:00 PM 10:00 PM
• One weekend per month

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Prior experience with order entry is required.
• Pharmacy technician license preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation:

• $19.00 per hour
