Order Entry Pharmacy Technician Direct Hire - Troy, Ohio

RPh on the Go is actively seeking an experienced Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to join a fast-paced long-term care mail order pharmacy in Troy, Ohio. This direct hire position offers an excellent career growth opportunity in a dynamic pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform order entry and follow-up, including new orders, DCs, STAT orders, Accuflow change logs, mail order entry, CII evaluation, work queue management, blister management, and patient admissions.
• Utilize Framework / DocuTrack to ensure accurate and timely prescription data entry.
• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve prescription or patient data discrepancies.
• Collaborate with customers to address order discrepancies, such as illegible prescriptions or medication concerns.
• Work alongside Order Entry leadership to achieve departmental goals.
• Continuously contribute to process improvements and customer service excellence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with co-workers and customers.
• Provide phone support as needed to assist customers.

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician License required.
• Previous pharmacy order entry experience is essential.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in medical terminology and drug knowledge.
• Strong math and analytical skills, particularly in calculations.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a long-term care pharmacy preferred.

Schedule:

• Monday Friday with every other weekend rotation
• Day Shift: 10:00 AM 6:30 PM
• Evening Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
