Order Entry Pharmacy Technician Full-Time

Position: Pharmacy Technician - Order Entry (Full-Time, Direct Hire) Troy, Ohio

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, plus every other weekend.
• Choose from 3 shift options:
  • 1st Shift: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM 7:00 AM

Job Responsibilities:
As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician, you ll work under the supervision of a pharmacist while ensuring all activities comply with state regulations. Your key duties include:

• Accurately entering and verifying orders in a timely manner
• Resolving discrepancies in prescription and patient data entry
• Maintaining precise and complete prescription/patient information
• Collaborating with leadership to meet and exceed departmental targets
• Offering exceptional service to both internal teams and external customers

Qualifications:

• Active and valid Ohio State Pharmacy Technician license (without disciplinary issues)
• Previous experience in Pharmacy Order Entry required
• Strong proficiency with computer systems
• In-depth understanding of medical terminology and medications
• Solid math and analytical skills, particularly in performing calculations
• At least 2 years of experience working in long-term care pharmacy (preferred)
