Pharmacy Technician - Order Entry (Full-Time, Direct Hire) Troy, Ohio

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday with alternating weekends
• Choose from 3 available shifts:
• Day Shift: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
• Swing Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
• Night Shift: 10:30 PM 7:00 AM

Position Overview: As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the pharmacy team and delivering high-quality care to our patients. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to compliance with state regulations. You will report to a pharmacist and be responsible for the following duties:

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter prescription and patient data, ensuring completeness and accuracy
• Resolve discrepancies in prescription or patient information
• Collaborate with leadership to meet departmental objectives and improve workflow efficiency
• Provide top-notch customer service to internal teams and external clients
• Maintain thorough knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical practices

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio State Pharmacy Technician license with a clean professional record
• Required: Previous experience in Pharmacy Order Entry
• Proficient with computer systems and pharmacy software
• Solid knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, and prescription processing
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities, particularly in calculations
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience working in a long-term care pharmacy setting
