Join Our Team: Order Entry Pharmacy Technician - Full-Time Direct Hire Troy, Ohio

Shift Options:

• Monday Friday with alternating weekends
• Choose from three (3) shift patterns:
• Day Shift: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
• Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
• Night Shift: 10:30 PM 7:00 AM

Role Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of prescription processing. In this role, you ll work under the supervision of a pharmacist and collaborate with the team to maintain exceptional service and quality care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately input prescription orders and patient data into the system, ensuring complete accuracy
• Troubleshoot any discrepancies in prescription or patient details
• Work closely with Order Entry leadership to support department goals and optimize processes
• Provide outstanding customer service to both internal teams and external stakeholders
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, drug classifications, and pharmaceutical practices

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio State Pharmacy Technician License in good standing
• Previous experience in Pharmacy Order Entry is a must
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in pharmacy software
• Familiarity with medical terminology and drug knowledge
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a focus on medication calculations
• Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in a long-term care pharmacy environment
