Order Entry Technician Long Term Care Pharmacy Troy OH

Looking for a long-term position with stable hours in an essential healthcare setting? We are hiring an experienced Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to join a growing long-term care pharmacy. This full-time role offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, and shift differentials for evening and weekend work.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday with every other weekend
• 1st Shift: 10:00 AM 6:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM ($2 shift differential)
• Weekend Differential: Up to $3/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter new prescriptions, STAT orders, and patient admissions.
• Work closely with pharmacists to resolve medication discrepancies.
• Utilize pharmacy software to ensure timely and precise medication dispensing.
• Deliver excellent customer service to both internal teams and external partners.
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations and best practices.

Requirements

• Active and clear Ohio Pharmacy Technician license.
• Minimum of 2 years of order entry experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, drug classifications, and pharmacy calculations.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, detail-oriented environment.
