Outpatient Pharmacist 8+ Week Assignment in New Mexico

RPh on the Go has an opening for a Pharmacist to work a contract assignment in Alamogordo, New Mexico. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist that is licensed in New Mexico.

Assignment Duration: 8+ weeks, with potential for extension

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 AM 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and storage.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of controlled substances and ensure proper inventory management.
• Be available to cover on-call duties, vacations, and holidays as needed.

Requirements:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of New Mexico.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a pharmacist.
• Availability to work full-time and cover additional shifts as required.
