Outpatient Pharmacist (August 2025 start) - Nevada

RPh on the Go is actively hiring for an Outpatient Pharmacist to begin in August at a community health facility in Nevada. This is a full-time, onsite role in an outpatient pharmacy setting that serves a diverse patient population ranging from prenatal to geriatric. The pharmacist will support day-to-day operations, ensure medication safety, collaborate with clinical teams, and provide patient counseling.

Position Details:

• Population Served: Prenatal to Geriatric
• Schedule: Full-time, day shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmaceutical services to ensure positive patient outcomes
• Collaborate with clinicians to improve prescribing practices and reduce adverse drug reactions
• Serve as a consultative authority on medication use and therapy optimization
• Maintain inventory, narcotics records, and stock control per legal and administrative standards
• Perform thorough review of prescription orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Promote rational drug therapy through staff education and drug information dissemination
• Provide patient counseling, ensure understanding of therapy, and encourage medication compliance
• Support AAAHC and national quality standards in all pharmacy operations

Requirements:

• Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university (graduates will be considered)
• Active and clear pharmacist license (state-specific details upon inquiry)
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to perform well under pressure and work while standing for extended periods
• Proficient computer and documentation skills
• In-depth knowledge of drug therapies and interactions
