Job Responsibilities:
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, therapy appropriateness, interactions, and patient safety
- Provide clinical consultation and resolve prescription concerns with prescribers
- Accurately verify and dispense prescription orders while maintaining proper documentation
- Offer patient counseling regarding medication use, potential side effects, and expected outcomes
- Conduct chart reviews, medication therapy management, and drug therapy consultations
- Oversee and direct pharmacy technicians, ensuring high-quality service
- Participate in quality control, formulary selection, and pharmacy-run clinic operations
- Support health promotion and disease prevention initiatives
Qualifications:
- Active and clear Pharmacist license in any U.S. state
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient or retail pharmacy setting
