Assignment Specifics:

• 9+ weeks
• Shift: M-F 8am-5pm with rotating Saturdays 9am-1pm

Job Duties:

• Medication Preparation and Dispensing:
• Accurately prepare and dispense medications according to prescriptions.
• Verify prescription details and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Label and package medications for patient distribution.
• Customer Service:
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
• Provide information on medication usage, storage, and side effects.
• Address customer concerns and escalate issues to the pharmacist when necessary.
• Inventory Management:
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels.
• Perform regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
• Ensure medications are stored properly and organized.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Process prescription orders and maintain patient records.
• Handle billing and insurance claims accurately.
• Assist with scheduling and appointment management.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Adhere to pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.

Requirements:

• IL Pharmacy Technician License
• 1+ year pharmacy technician experience
