Outpatient Pharmacy Technician - IHS, Travel Assignment - Newtown, ND

A federal Indian Health Service (IHS) facility in Newtown, ND, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work in its outpatient pharmacy. Housing is provided, along with a meal stipend and mileage assistance.

Duties:

• Fulfillment of prescriptions (Rx 100/day).
• Assist pharmacists with medication dispensing and inventory management.
• Provide customer service to patients receiving outpatient prescriptions.

Schedule/Shift:

• Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Terms:

• 13+ weeks, temp-to-perm opportunity

Requirements:

• Active North Dakota Pharmacy Technician License in good standing (no negative history).
• Minimum 2+ years of retail or outpatient pharmacy experience.
• Previous IHS or Tribal healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

Program System:

• Experience with IHS pharmacy systems is a plus.
